Every library I’ve worked in as an adult has had these step stools but they still remind me of being a kid in the library.

My folks got me one of these when I was in library school, the 50th Anniversary Library Edition, no less. I’m a short lady, so a step stool is a necessity in my house. And I love having this quintessential library stool in my house.
