“oldies want chums, too.” OK.
“aged between 35 and 54.” OK.
The two of them used as in any sense synonymous: Either the UK’s a lot more different than the US than I thought, or this is bovine excrement.
Oldies? 35 to 54? I raise a 62-year-old one-finger salute to the very notion!
