Here’s a slide from the presentation I’m giving with Sarah Houghton-Jan next week! We’re kicking off Monday, October 29th’s Public Libraries track at Internet Librarian which was assembled by Jenny and Michael. It is going to be fun, hope to see you there!

  1. camel 247,

Just wanted you to know that even I use the computer for numbers and addresses now.

  2. Diane,

I don’t think my kids (ages 18 and 22) even know how to use a phone book….

  3. Yeah, that’s a “skill” they may never have to acquire, huh?

  4. At my mom’s house in Texas I found twenty years worth of old phone books. The reason I could not recycle them for her is that she may have jotted some phone number somewhere in them.
